While Geocaching isn't a competitive game as such, many people who play it enjoy beating their personal-bests, completing various stats-based challenges, pushing themselves to solve difficult puzzle caches and difficult physical challenges too. To reflect this aspect of Geocaching, the Geolympix team is setting-up a selection of caches and series to give visitors the opportunity to achieve their geocaching goals.
A popular feature of the 2012 Oxford Geolympix was our 11 in 11
Challenge - find 11 different cache types/icons in 11 hours. While that may no longer be possible, we've not forgotten cachers who
like an excuse to push themselves a bit. The following are all totally optional... if you can resist the lure of:
The "AlphaBet You Can't" Challenge.
